Après avoir exploré le monde de l’architecture d’intérieur et du design d’édition, Hugo Danneels et Julie Figueroa Zafiro  fondent en 2021 leur atelier d'artisanat d'art et studio de création spécialisé dans l’ébénisterie et le tournage.

La rencontre du bois et du feu est leur premier émoi d’artisan, écailles, craquelures, charbon, noir profond, la transformation extrême de la matière par le feu et la volonté de figer cette métamorphose est un continuel terrain de jeu et d’émerveillement.

Toujours guidés par la recherche d’une sensibilité propre à chaque matière, ils poursuivent leur exploration en mêlant techniques mécaniques contemporaines et gestes traditionnels, comme la sculpture du bois à la gouge.

Avec la collection 2025, leur travail franchit une nouvelle étape : la rencontre avec le cuir, pour enrichir l’approche sensorielle et intensifier le dialogue entre la matière et le corps.

After exploring the world of interior architecture and design, Hugo Danneels and Julie Figueroa Zafiro founded their craft workshop and creative studio in 2021, specializing in furniture-making and turnery.

The meeting of wood and fire is their first artisan thrill—scales, cracks, charcoal, deep black—the extreme transformation of the material by fire and the desire to freeze this metamorphosis is a constant playground of wonder and fascination.

Always guided by the search for a sensitivity unique to each material, they continue their exploration by combining contemporary mechanical techniques with traditional gestures, such as wood carving with a gouge.
With the 2025 collection, their work enters a new phase: the encounter with leather, enriching the sensory approach and deepening the dialogue between material and body.
