Nocturne est un tabouret sculptural en hêtre gougé teinté noir.

Sculptée lentement à la main, sa surface se transforme en un paysage de vagues, façonné par la gouge. Les creux captent la lumière, les reliefs la diffusent avec douceur.

Le noir vient ensuite envelopper la matière, approfondit les ombres et révèle les volumes. De cette tension entre éclat et obscurité naît une vibration sensible, une perception en mouvement.

Nocturne is a sculptural stool made from gouged beech, stained black.

Slowly carved by hand, its surface becomes a landscape of waves shaped by the gouge. The hollows catch the light, while the raised areas soften and diffuse it.

The black finish then wraps the material, deepening the shadows and bringing out the volumes. From this tension between light and darkness emerges a quiet vibration — a sense of movement felt rather than seen.
